Mt. Batur Sunrise Trekking

Mount Batur is part of the UNESCO Global Geopark Network and is considered to have some of the most stunning views on the island of Bali. Indeed, visitors often comment that their Mt Batur trek was the highlight of their vacation. You’ll begin with a pick-up by one of our friendly, licensed, English-speaking drivers. Once you arrive safely at Toya Bungkah village, you’ll meet your guide for the trek who will brief you on history, culture and safety procedures for your trek. You’ll follow your guide along the trail as the dawn light begins to brighten up the path and its surroundings. A beautiful sunrise view awaits at the summit, but there is plenty to see along the trail as well. Once you reach the top, you’ll sit and relax as the sun rises over the eastern sky. Your guide will begin cooking your breakfast over the volcanic steam as you take pictures or sit and enjoy the view. When ready, you’ll begin your trek back down the mountain. On your way home, you’ll stop at a coffee plantation to taste some of Bali’s best coffee and tea. You’ll arrive back at your hotel in plenty of time to enjoy the rest of your afternoon by the pool, at the beach or for a massage.
